Welcome to gear.umgc.edu. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this Site and the purchase of products through it. By accessing or placing an order on this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. General
This Site is operated for official merchandise and gear associated with the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
2. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Orders are not considered accepted until production begins or confirmation is issued. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices, product descriptions, and availability are subject to change without notice. Payment must be received in full before orders are processed.
4. Production and Shipping
Standard production time is 10–12 business days. During peak or holiday periods, production time may extend up to 15 business days. Shipping typically requires an additional 3–5 business days, depending on the destination. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.
5. Custom and Personalized Items
Custom or personalized items are made to order and are final sale unless the item is defective or incorrect due to our error.
6. Returns and Exchanges
Returns or exchanges may be accepted for non-custom items within a reasonable timeframe if the item is unused and in original condition. Proof of purchase is required. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
7. Cancellations and Modifications
Orders may not be canceled or modified once production has begun.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including logos, images, designs, and text, is the property of UMGC or its licensors and may not be used without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this Site or the purchase of products.
